04/02/12: PP, C2B intervals

Early AM:
5 min aerobic effort airdyne
rest 2 min
15 reverse hyper EMOM x 5 min
5 min aerobic effort airdyne
rest 2 min
:30 Static Hold abs, :30 rest x 5
5 min aerobic effort airdyne

Main Work:
3 sets @ 95% after good warm up:
3 TnG push press tough
15 CTB chin ups
Run 100 m
(walk rest 4 min b/t sets)
RESULTS:
195, 205, 215, felt good about my strength here. Runs were slow, going to take a bit to get my legs back but will be working some 200m into my early am session.

Row 1 min @ best 500 m row time pace
rest 4 min x 3
RESULTS:

The Erg is always tough and its been a week since I was breathing this hard:
308m at 137.4, 307m at 137.6, 308m at 137.1

  1. I’ve watched many of your WODs and noticed you use an underhand grip on some bar movements (T2B, CTB etc.). Do you find you have a better range of motion underhand or is there another specific reason?
