3 day fast Tues-Thurs
Tues: Did some aerobic efforts/easy warmup at 4:30AM, no training mid AM.
WED: Did some aerobic efforts/easy warmup at 4:30AM, no training mid AM.
THURS: Hiked a tough Billy Goat trail with family, 3 hours, fun experience on 3rd day of fast.
FRI: BROKE FAST
AM: 25 min aerobic effort: 8 rounds of 200m run, WB, ring pushups, strict pullups
Mid AM: 100 turkish get-ups with 35# KB, slow and steady movement, perfect form.
RESULTS:
Hit first 50 in 10:48, rested 2:12, next 30 in 6:35, rested 2:25, final 20 in 3:47 = 25:47 total.
A good sweat and reintroduction after fast.
Is there any particular fasting protocol you follow?

How do/did you fell after the fast? Do you think it was effective?

Ted, it takes its toll on your training. Body is flushing all the toxins out so when you get back training you are a bit weak. It is good to reset the body a few times a year though.
